Cycle Fun Day in Cleethorpes - Could you be the next Sir Bradley Wiggins?

This Sunday (2 June), there will be a free event at Meridian Park in Cleethorpes concerned with all things cycling.

Do you want to have your bike checked over to make sure it’s fit to ride? Or just find out information about what rides are available in this area? It’s all available on the day between 10am and 3pm.

There will be lots of activities, including free guided rides from Meridian Park around the Cleethorpes area throughout the day.

There will also be information stalls to help you find out more about adapted cycling for people with disabilities and also Sky Ride Local, the programme we’re running with British Cycling and North Lincolnshire Council to promote free guided rides around the area.

And to top it all, there will be one of the easy-going Sky Ride Local rides “Ice Cream on the Prom!” starting from Meridian Park at 2pm. This is an easy ride for people looking to get back into cycling or gain more confidence. To book your place, visit www.goskyride.com.

So why not come find out more? In this great year for British Cycling, maybe you could be the next Sir Bradley Wiggins!
