The Council published its New Local Plan Issues and Options Paper for public consultation in October 2012.
The New Local Plan Issues and Options Paper was prepared to provide information about the New Local Plan. It built on the previous Core Strategy work, setting the context for the New Local Plan. It sought to reaffirm the approaches from the Core Strategy and outline new issues and new options to be addressed as part of the New Local Plan.
The paper also included a formal ‘Call for Sites’, providing the opportunity for sites to be suggested for inclusion in the New Local Plan for future development within the Borough.
