Local Development Orders (LDOs) are made by local planning authorities and give a grant of planning permission to specific types of development within a defined area

They are designed to streamline the planning process by removing the need for developers to make a planning application to a local planning authority.  The intention is to create certainty and save time and money for those involved in the planning process.

North East Lincolnshire already has a LDO in place for the Port of Grimsby East.  It is now also consulting on 3 further LDOs at:

  • Western School, Cambridge Road, Grimsby
  • Former Clifton Bingo, Grant Street, Cleethorpes
  • Former Birdseye, Ladysmith Road, Grimsby

Further details about each LDO and how to comment is available below via the link for each site. Consultation closes on the 20th August 2015.
