The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a mechanism which can be used to secure additional funding to provide new infrastructure. The council is currently working with specialists to produce a Community Infrastructure Levy Viability Study, which will help to inform the council's decision on whether or not to introduce CIL.

The council will provide updates on progress with the viability work through future editions of the Shaping the Future of North East Lincolnshire newsletter, a link to the newsletter page can be found under the Related content area of this page.
